Sanders, Valois A.
“Pete”
Valois Sanders age 86, New London died on Friday, May 11, 2012. She was born on December 8, 1925, in the Town of Maple Creek, daughter of the late Emil and Selma (Rieck) Peters. She was united in marriage to Gerald “Bud” Sanders on September 20, 1947. Valois gave piano lessons out of her home for the past 55 plus years. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.
She is survived by her husband Gerald; a son Steve (Sandy) Sanders, Appleton; a sister, Jeanette Hoffman, Clintonville and a grandson Jared. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister LaVerne Remich.
The Christian Funeral for Valois will be held on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. Brian Hennig officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Town of Caledonia. A visitation for Valois will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home and also at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family would like to thank the staff of Theda Care Hospice and also New London Family Medical Center for their care and concern of Pete.
