Biography

Mrs. Martha Nell Davis Parker, 66 of Buncombe Waco Road, Waco passed away December 13, 2010.

Mrs. Parker was born on November 30, 1944 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Clifford Lee Davis and Ruby Inez Carden Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ray Parker, brothers, C.L. Buster Davis and Walter Mac Davis, and a grandson, David Parker.

She is survived by son and daughter in law, Michael & Melissa Parker of Waco; daughter and son in law, Annette & William Wells of Newnan; sisters, Shirley & Billy Folds of Bremen, Frances Parker of Waco, Carolyn Wingo of Bremen, Grace & Ronnie Richardson of Bowdon, Marie & Harwell Reeves of Rome and Evelyn & James Hicks of Buchanan; brothers, Charles Davis of Bremen, Jack & Judy Davis of Tallapoosa and Leon & Burdette Davis of Muscadine Jct., AL; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 between the hours of 4:30 & 8 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 2 pm from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Van Brown officiating and Mr. Allen Poole speaking. Scott Stanford, Terry Ballenger, Terry Parker, Bobby Parker, Danny Culver, John Turner, Jaycen Simpson and Phillip Morton will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
