Delbert E. Hamm

LINDEN, TX– Delbert Earl Hamm, 83, of Kildare passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 in Linden. Mr. Hamm was born March 28, 1928 in Marion County, Texas to Albert Hardy and Callie Sue Earl Hamm. He was owner and operator of Hamm Butane and a member of Kildare First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Hamm; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Karen Hamm and Ronnie and Jina Hamm; a grand daughter, Katherine Chaffin and husband, Ryan; two great grandsons, Seth and Sean Chaffin; four brothers, Bennie Hamm, David Hamm, Cleo Hamm, and Douglass Hamm; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Kyle Hamm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Kildare with Bro. Earl Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Kildare Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. in Linden. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
