Dear Susan: Nancy and I have thought often of you and Art over the years. By chance we drove by your old house on River Road about a month ago and were reminiscing about the great pool parties with the old Behavioral Science bunch.
Art was a great mentor to many of us and we are most grateful. Mike and Nancy Walsh
All of our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We will remember what a wonderful, giving, and brilliat man Art was, and how lucky so many of us were to have been touched by him. We can only be envious of how fortunate those will be who he will touch in his next adventure.
Elaine and I have known and loved Art for more than 25 years. We send our sympathy and love to Susan, Hunter and John and to all the good people of Taos who were so blessed to have Art among them.
We were away and just learned about Art's passing. He was a true pioneer and a giant of a figure in the underwater community. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
We first met Art over 20 years ago through the Secret Service and Our World Underwater. At rare times in our life we are allowed to know some truly great individuals. It was out privilege to know Art.
I appreciated your sense of PUNS - frequently ending your underwater slide shows with FINS.
Now my dear friend you have reached that part of your show which is FINS. May these FINS help propel you into that unknown ocean of love --
