Life Legacy
Marilyn K. Roche Ryan, 84, of Wallingford, went into the arms of the Lord, Wednesday, May 2, 2012. She was the beloved wife of 29 years of the late Robert L. Ryan.
Marilyn was born in Waterbury, December 30, 1927, a daughter of the late Francis Roche and Mary Garland Roche. A devout Catholic, she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Yalesville. Marilyn had been employed by Times Fiber and Cable in Wallingford until her retirement.
She is survived by her two children Roland LaPointe and his wife Lucy of Fort Ann, N.Y., and Sharon Garcia of Monterey, TN., along with her five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; her sisters Barbara Pocius of Waterbury, and Nancy Reid of Memphis, TN; her brother Timothy Roche and his wife Betty of Bethlehem; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery will be private. There will be no calling hours. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Road, Yalesville, CT. 06492, or to the Franciscan Home Care and Hospice, 267 Finch Ave., Meriden, CT. 06451.
