Life Legacy
MARC ALLEN CLODFELTER, 38, passed away suddenly, on April 29, 2012, at his residence in Boston MA. He was the son of Joyce Corriveau Clodfelter of Chesapeake VA and Charles W. Clodfelter of Henderson NC.
He leaves his brothers Gene Clodfelter of Wallingford, and Wade Clodfelter of Chesapeake VA., his nieces Kayla, Cassie, Kristina Clodfelter, and Breanna Clodfelter Harris, his nephew Zachery Clodfelter and grandnephew Bryson Wade Harris. He was predeceased by his brother John T. Clodfelter in 2001. He followed his own path and touched all that were lucky to know him on his journeys. It’s not tears that fed Marc’s soul but the laughs and love from all that were lucky enough to know him. Marc’s favorite saying was “Love loves love”.
Born July 2, 1973 in New Haven, he attended Wallingford schools and graduated from Xavier High School Middletown class of 1991. He served as an altar boy at the Church of the Resurrection. He attended Salve Regina University RI, Before moving to Boston, Marc lived in Destin FL, and Nashville TN. Marc will also be missed by a large circle of friends he called his “Boston family”. Memorials were held in both Nashville ‘Marc Clodfelter Day’ and Boston MA.
Marc loved by all but especially his nieces and nephew. His friends and family will miss his self-effacing and humorous ordeals, adventures and his “Marcism situations.” Marc loved his adopted home of Boston, his Boston Red Sox, Bruins, squirrels, compassion for others and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to the Church of the Resurrection where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2012. Following the mass, Marc’s family invites everyone to join with them in a continuation of the celebration of his life at the Wallingford Elks Club, 148 S. Main St, Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to the Clodfelter Family, c/o of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext., Wallingford, CT 06492
