Life Legacy
Richard K. Kondracki, 54, of Wallingford, died surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Deborah Guastella Kondracki.
He was born in Meriden, September 26, 1957, a son of the late Richard J. and Jeanette Kunze Kondracki and was proudly raised by his grandparents, Joseph and Florence Kondracki. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Richard was employed by Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation as a Production Control Manager and was an avid hunter, gardener and fisherman.
In addition to his wife Deborah, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Franklin Butler; his aunt, Jane Kondracki; and many friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his uncle, Bill Kondracki who was also a brotherly figure and friend.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 3 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. A funeral service with military honors will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.
