Life Legacy
Funeral services for Franklin R. McDade, age 85 of Kosse, Texas are set for 10 am Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo. Gene Garland will officiate and burial will be in the Kosse Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm at the Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home.
Franklin McDade was born in Kosse, Texas on January 13, 1926 to Walter and Lillie (Williams) McDade. He served his country in the United States Army, and he loved ranching and cows. He also loved gardening and listening to music. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Celeste McDade; brothers, Raymond, Floyd, & James; and a sister, Mary. Mr. McDade passed away Monday morning, June 27, 2011 in Groesbeck, Texas.
Survivors include one daughter, Kandie Helm of Cedar Hill, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Goddard of Cedar Hill, Texas, Donna Kubecka of Dallas, Texas and Christopher Helm of Buffalo, Texas; great grandchildren, Annalise Goddard, Xavier Helm and Orion Helm; and many nieces and nephews.
Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
