Camilla Ann Chesney

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Camilla Ann Chesney have been set for 10 AM, Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Siloam Cemetery north of Centerville in Leon County. Bro. Ed Houk will officiate. Walters Funeral Home in Centerville is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation before service.
Camilla Ann Chesney was born in Dickinson, Texas on January 5, 1928. She lived most of her life in Houston and was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching baseball and was an Astros fan. Mrs. Chesney lived by herself in her own home in Houston until last September when, because of declining health, she moved to Centerville to be near her son and daughter-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and sisters and her husband, Bennie Chesney, Sr. Mrs. Chesney passed away in a Madisonville hospital on July 7, 2011.
Surviving family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Bennie, Jr. and Janet Chesney of Buffalo; brother, Frank Vitoble of Dickinson; grandchildren, April (Gene) Gibson of Longview, James (Misty) Shupp of Pasadena and Shannon (Crystal) Chesney of South Carolina; great grandchildren, Caleb, Faith, James, Destiny, Jocelyn, Jayden, James and Kaylee as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
